These Terms of Service govern your use of ShortPlay Studio and related websites, tools, and services we provide.

1. The Service

ShortPlay Studio is an AI-assisted production workspace for turning scripts into storyboard plans, reusable assets, shot images, and generated video outputs. Features, model availability, output quality, and generation speed may change over time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of your credentials.

Some features may require you to sign in, maintain credits, or hold an active subscription.

3. Credits, Billing, and Paid Features

Paid features may use one-time credits, subscriptions, or other billing models presented at checkout.

By purchasing a paid plan or credits, you agree that:

  • charges may be processed by third-party payment providers
  • prices, plan limits, and included credits may change prospectively
  • unused credits, expired plans, refunds, and failed payments are handled according to the plan terms shown at purchase, applicable law, and provider rules
  • we may suspend paid features if payment fails, is reversed, or appears fraudulent

4. Your Content

You retain whatever rights you have in the scripts, prompts, files, images, and other content you submit to the Service.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, and transform that content as needed to operate the Service, generate outputs, prevent abuse, and provide support.

You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit your content and to ask us to process it.

5. Generated Output

As between you and us, we do not claim ownership of the generated outputs we create for your account. However:

  • your rights in outputs may depend on the rights you had in your inputs
  • outputs may be subject to applicable law and the terms of third-party providers
  • similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users
  • we do not guarantee that outputs are unique, non-infringing, or fit for any specific commercial purpose

You are responsible for reviewing generated outputs before publishing, distributing, or relying on them.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate law or infringe the rights of others
  • upload or process content you do not have permission to use
  • generate deceptive, fraudulent, exploitative, or abusive content
  • upload, generate, request, or distribute pornographic, sexually explicit, adult, nude, or otherwise not-safe-for-work content
  • attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass the Service or its safeguards
  • attempt to bypass content moderation, safety classifiers, or policy enforcement
  • scrape, automate, or use the Service in a way that harms platform stability or other users
  • submit malware, malicious code, or harmful files

Our AI image and video features may be subject to automated and manual moderation controls. We may block requests, remove content, suspend tasks, limit access, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, operational, payment, or safety risk.

7. Third-Party Providers

The Service depends on third-party providers for authentication, payments, storage, delivery, and AI model inference. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, delays, pricing changes, or output behavior caused by those providers.

8. Availability and Service Changes

We may add, remove, interrupt, or modify features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, successful generation, or preservation of every project or output forever.

We may impose technical or usage limits, including request limits, project limits, model restrictions, or task timeouts.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • you create legal, payment, or security risk
  • required third-party services become unavailable
  • we discontinue part or all of the Service

Termination does not automatically erase billing records, completed transactions, or data we must keep for legal or operational reasons.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your intended use.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity.

Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
